In December 2025, I had the privilege of joining the Agentic AI Summit 2025 as a Special Trainer, Mentor, and Speaker — hosted by the IEEE Bangalore Young Professionals Section at the iconic Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Stepping to the other side of the podium reshaped how I understand and communicate Agentic AI.

From Participant to Speaker

Having attended forums like this before, contributing as a speaker offered a fundamentally different perspective. Structuring the material to teach it demanded deeper clarity of my own — and made delivering complex concepts in an accessible, easy-to-grasp way all the more rewarding.

Hands-on Sessions: Agentic AI Workflows

I led hands-on sessions on Agentic AI Workflows, guiding participants through practical, build-as-you-learn development:

  • Practical, Python-based AI development
  • Agent design & architecture
  • Tool integration for agents
  • Building real-world, end-to-end applications

Engaging with a curious and technically strong audience at IISc made the teaching and mentoring experience especially rewarding.

A Room Full of Industry & Research Leaders

The summit brought together senior engineers, architects, startup founders, and research leaders from organizations including Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, Atlassian, Samsung Electronics, MediaTek, and Microsoft — offering a valuable pulse on current AI R&D and real-world industry adoption.

Day 1 — Designing Agentic Systems

Day 1 focused on hands-on agentic system design — building simple agents with tool usage using modern agentic frameworks. It was a pleasure to share the stage with an exceptional group of speakers.

Day 2 — The Future of AI & XR

Day 2 looked ahead to the convergence of AI and XR — immersive experiences with the Samsung Galaxy XR, conversations on human–AI collaboration, and the evolving role of agentic systems in shaping what comes next.

Google Office Visit - Research Week with Google Program (February 2024)

An Inside Look at Innovation and Culture

In February 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Research Week with Google program, which included an exclusive visit to Google’s office. This was an unforgettable experience that gave me deep insights into how one of the world’s most innovative companies operates, collaborates, and drives technological advancement.

The Program Overview

The Research Week with Google program brought together talented researchers, engineers, and students to explore the cutting edge of AI, machine learning, and software engineering. The centerpiece of our week was a guided tour and immersive experience at the Google office, where we got to see firsthand the environment where groundbreaking innovations happen.

Highlights from the Office

1. Modern Workspace Design The Google office is a perfect blend of functionality and creativity. Open collaborative spaces, high-tech meeting rooms, and quiet zones for focused work allow teams to work efficiently while maintaining a vibrant culture of innovation.

2. Technology Stack & Infrastructure We had the privilege of learning about Google’s internal infrastructure, cloud solutions, and the scale at which they operate. The engineering teams shared insights on how they handle billions of queries, maintain uptime, and continuously improve their systems.

3. AI & ML Research Centers Visiting the AI research labs was the highlight. We saw prototypes of upcoming AI projects, including work on natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems. The researchers were generous in sharing their work and the challenges they tackle daily.

4. Collaborating with Engineers One of the best parts was the interactive sessions with actual Google engineers. They shared their career journeys, discussed the hiring process, and gave practical advice on building a career in tech.

Diverse and Insightful Talks

1) Enlightening sessions from predoctoral researchers and pioneers in both industry and academia. 2) Covered a wide range of topics, including machine learning optimization, responsible AI, machine unlearning, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), and collaborative learning methods.

Unforgettable Lectures

1) James Kwok, Trevor Cohn, and Ravi Kumar offered profound insights into their research areas, emphasizing multidisciplinary approaches toward responsible AI and data privacy.

Innovative Research Presentations

1) The poster sessions displayed cutting-edge research — one talk that stood out was Himanshu Beniwal’s work on cross-lingual editing in LLMs, which opened interesting directions for multilingual model editing and evaluation.

Panel Discussions and Keynotes

1) The keynote by Jeff Dean (Chief Research Scientist, Google Research & DeepMind) was a highlight — he discussed recent breakthroughs and the future trajectory of foundational models such as GEMINI. 2) Partha Talukdar presented exciting work on the VAANI project, capturing the speech landscape of India. 3) Aparna Taneja spoke about applications of AI for maternal & child health. 4) A fireside panel featuring Manish Gupta, Grace Chung, and Inderjit Dhillon led to thought-provoking discussion on research directions and societal impact.
